Both mommy and Sadie are doing Excellent. We ended up doing a last minute c-section. Sadie just would not drop so the doctor was worried that Celeste's pelvis was too narrow. It all happened very fast. Within 25 minutes Celeste was already preped and ready for surgery. And before we knew it, Sadie was here. Sadie is gorgeous and early votes say she looks just like her mom. Hopefully we'll have more pictures to come. Right now, we both need to sleep a little...hopefully.

Well...... Still Here..... No baby..... and nothings Happening!

Well we have been at the hospital since 5 am this morning and it is now 1:30 pm and there has not been any change. I just got checked and I am barely at a one!! A one!! My doctor just came in and checked me and he said that he can't even break my water yet becuase it is still so far back. The contractions do not really hurt yet, but the thing that is killing me is I am so hungry!!! And all of you who know me, know how much I love food and love to eat. I have not been able to eat anything since last night. I think it kindof ironic that you are told that for 9 months you have to make sure that you eat enough for two and do 6 small meals a day, and have snacks, and now all of a sudden they hand you a cup of ice and say enjoy!! Yes that is killing me. Well hopefully something will happen so and we can keep you updated!
-Love Nate and Celeste, and Sadie (hopefully soon)

"Do do do do do do do do....." (Jeopardy Theme)

Well, here I am at 40 weeks, past my due date, and still pregnant and uncomfortable. And yes that baby counter should say -1! But the end is in sight and there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I had my doctors appointment yesterday and he said that nothing has happened! Not even dilated to a mere 1. I have just been chillin' at the same measurements for three weeks. He did measure the baby and thinks she may weigh around 7 pounds. Which sounds a lot better than the 8+ he estimated last week. So my doctor has scheduled me to be induced WEDNESDAY (yes, tomorrow) at 5:00 am! We are so so so excited. I am so happy to actually have a date that I know we are going to go into the hospital and get things started. So I get to pack my bags and get everything ready today after work and then it's baby time!!!! We are going to do our best to keep everyone updated so keep checking our blog and hopefully soon, Sadie will finally make her big debut!

No Baby = More Projects

So here is the update. I only have 12 days left!! I went to my doctors appointment on Tuesday to see if anything has happened. I tried not to hope too much so that I would not be dissapointed if nothing has happened, but I have progressed. I have not dialated yet, but the process has started and I should be dialating soon! I was really excited to hear that at least something has happened in a week. The doctor did say that I am measuring at 38 cm (which I am 38 weeks, so that's good) and Sadie is head down and getting ready. I have my next appointment on Tuesday and I am hoping that I am still progessing.
Since the baby is not here yet I am trying to keep myself busy with finishing a bunch of projects and getting the house and baby's room ready. Here is what we have been doing:
1- Our entire house is tile. So we wanted to get some carpet for the family room and the baby's room so if we wanted to play on the floor we could. We have been waiting for almost a month to get the carpet and it finally came!! Here are some before and after pictures.

Notice that Dodger felt he needed to be in both pictures once the carpet was in. He has already taken a very strong liking to the carpet.

2- As part as Sadie's bedding set we got this toy bag. Looking at it, I did not think that I would ever use it for toys so I tried to come up with a new idea. In the end, it is the perfect thing to hold all of Sadie's bows and clips. And of course I had to add a little bit of "bling" (even though Nate was against it).

3- ( Dad Fisher this is for you - Love big foot) So this is not a project but I have been talking about how big my feet are!! I can't believe that I am actually putting a picutre up. They truly get so swollen, that all I can do is (most of the time) just laugh. So here is a picture of my feet so you can really see how big they are. Honestly, I did have ankles and an ankle bone.

4- I have been working on the baskets for the baker's shelf. I have finally finished the last one and we were able to set them up. I am so excited that they turned out looking so cute.

5- The last project I actually can't take any credit for (except that I am making the baby), but my sister did everything. She has this amazing talent of scrapbooking these letters. I have been looking forward to getting these letter's since I found out I was pregnant!! She did such a good job putting everything together and the colors match perfectly. I did a few close ups so you could see all the details on the letters. I could not wait to put the letters up. I think that it just helps complete the room. Thanks Shantelle!!

We are so so so excited to greet Sadie soon. We will make sure to keep everyone updated on any new developments.
We love you all!!

Coming Soon..... A New Post!! Look for it tonight!

So close and yet so far!

Well here I am at 37 weeks!!! I can't believe I am so close, but at the same time it feels like it is taking forever for her to come. I don't really like to complain, but I am 100% done with being pregnant. I am very very uncomfortable all the time and my feet and ankles are just a joke. They are so swollen that Nate and I laugh about them all the time. I was thinking that I would put a picture up, but I don't think that my ego can handle it right now. I did have a doctors appointment last tuesday. My doctor said that nothing has happened and I'm not dialated. I was somewhat dissapointed since everyone at work has been telling my that everyone they know goes 4 weeks early! So I have another appointment on Tuesday and I am just trying not to expect anything.

We have been doing some projects to get everything ready for little Sadie. One project is that I have been putting together some baskets that are going to go on a baker's shelf in Sadie's room. I'm not sure if we know exactly what is going in them, but at least I think they turned out so so cute! Here is a before and after of the baskets. I found the baskets for $2.50 each, and the material was $2.00 a yard and the ribbon (which is pratically our bedding, Thanks Walmart!) was $4.00 for 10 yards. I am all about inexpensive projects. :)

Another project that we have been working on is getting another bed so that when people come and stay they will have a bed. We were looking into all of our options and finally came up with a solution. (Side note- My husband is the best and you will understand why in a minute) We purchased a KING sized bed!!! I had been asking for a King size bed for a couple of months since I am so uncomfortable when I sleep and Dodger sleeps in the middle of Nate and I. Even though he is a little guy (dodger), he will sometimes push you around. King sized beds are really really expensive, but we were lucky enough to find one at Sleep America that was on sale and extremely nice. Well, before we left the store, we had purchased it and the bed was scheduled to be delivered two days after that! So now, we have an amazing king sized bed that gives us both so much room. And now when people come to visit (that is an invitation to all ) they will have a really really nice bed to stay on. And of course, I made Nate get a cute comforter set for the both beds. :) (See I told you he was the best)

The rest of this post is going to be a shout out to Nate. It is Father's day and he is going to be a father soon enough. I can't tell you how excited he is to be a father. He has been so supportive through the entire pregnancy, even when I wake him up at 2:00 am with leg cramps. Or 3:30 am becasue I had a nightmare. He will go to Walmart to get milk and come back with 4 new outfits for Sadie. And Yes, they match and are so cute! Not only is he excited for Sadie, but he continues to provide for our family. He has an amazing work ethic and does what needs to be done even though it may not be what is most enjoyable. He is working hard to get on the police academy and is not giving up on his dream. He knows what he wants to do and is not afraid to fight for it. I am so lucky to have him in my life! I am so excited to be able to spend my whole life with him. I could not imagine my life without him. We have such a good time together and he always makes me laugh. Nate I love you so much and I know that Sadie is the luckiest little girl ever!
