4 Months (and Halloween, yes I am a little behind)

Sadie is now the big 4, (months that is). Getting older and older, and cuter and cuter. She is starting to get into the really fun stage of knowing who you are every time you pick her up. She is smiling all the time and is getting closer and closer to having a belly laugh.

She is getting really close to sitting up by herself. Apparently she thinks she is a big girl.

Sadie loves to take baths! She is so happy when she is in there and will just play and splash around.

Here she is with Nate after church. She was trying to channel some Hawaii vibes. ( I think this is her way of telling us where to go on vacation)

This is Sadie just being cute.

We were able to go take some fun pictures of Sadie up by a lake by our house. It was really pretty. We are hoping that soon we will be able to utilize the lake more.

So for Halloween Sadie was a little Lamb!! I saw this costume and could not resist. The hat part was really small and did not fit on her head as you could probably tell but she did not seem to mind. For Halloween our ward had a trunk or treat in the elementary school parking lot. They have hot dogs, chili, and homemade root beer. Then we all decorated our trunks and the kids all walked around. It was our first time at a trunk or treat and we really loved it. It was nice to not have to get up and down to get the door and our dogs did not bark at all. It was fun to see all the costumes and to mingle with people from the ward and all the neighbors that we did not know. I think next year we are going to go all out with our trunk and costumes, (we did not dress up as anything unless you call regular clothes and us saying we were sheep herders a costume).
The costume did not seem to bug Sadie and she seemed to have a lot of fun. That is the whole 20 minutes that she was awake. :)

Overall it was a great holiday and hopefully Sadie will have some great memories. And yes, she loves you all!

Sadie's First Trip To Pinetop!

Ok, first things first. I went the mall yesterday and I just could not help myself! I have always talked about getting Sadie's ears pierced and I actually did it!! I know, some may think that horrible, but she looks so cute! She did scream, but after about a minute she calmed down and was fine. She has not had a problem since. So yeah...

The weekend of mine and Nate's birthday we decided to go to Pinetop! We invited Noah and Giselle to come, and of course Sadie and Rajko. We had so much fun.

The weather was really great. In the early morning and evenings, it was a little chilly but all you needed was a sweatshirt. During the day it was really nice and cool.

Here are Rajko and Sadie watching Baby Einstein. They really enjoyed it and it was helpful when we were eating dinner.

We had to make sure that Sadie had some warm shoes while we were up there so we couldn't resist getting these leopard print Ugs.
Here we are walking around one night and stopping by the club house.
This was Sadie's first bike ride! We were able to bring up all four of our bikes and we borrowed a trailer from Nik and Anissa, (thanks guys!).
Sadie was all bundled up and ready to go. One day we rode to the family dollar down the street and got stuff to make s'mores. Another day, we followed a paved path around the town. It was a lot of fun to see the area and be out. Sadie loved the bike rides. I think that we are going to have to purchase a bike trailer so we can take her on more rides.
Noah and Giselle watched Sadie one day so Nate and I could go biking. The area was really really pretty. Not much of a mountain biking trail, but it was still a great workout.
You can't really tell, but Nate is catching some air on a little jump.
This was our cabin that we stayed in. We are really grateful that we have our time share and that we are able to share it with others.
On the way home from Pinetop there is a great lookout spot that you can take pictures. We may have gotten a little carried away, but it was fun.

Thank so much to Nate for planning the whole thing and booking the resort. Also thanks to Noah and Giselle for driving and coming with us. It was a lot of fun to leave the stresses of life and go relax up in the "woods". (Yes, I know that they are not like the woods back home, hence the " ". ) I think that we may have to make this a yearly event and all that want to come are welcome!!
