No Baby = More Projects
So here is the update. I only have 12 days left!! I went to my doctors appointment on Tuesday to see if anything has happened. I tried not to hope too much so that I would not be dissapointed if nothing has happened, but I have progressed. I have not dialated yet, but the process has started and I should be dialating soon! I was really excited to hear that at least something has happened in a week. The doctor did say that I am measuring at 38 cm (which I am 38 weeks, so that's good) and Sadie is head down and getting ready. I have my next appointment on Tuesday and I am hoping that I am still progessing.
Since the baby is not here yet I am trying to keep myself busy with finishing a bunch of projects and getting the house and baby's room ready. Here is what we have been doing:
1- Our entire house is tile. So we wanted to get some carpet for the family room and the baby's room so if we wanted to play on the floor we could. We have been waiting for almost a month to get the carpet and it finally came!! Here are some before and after pictures.

Notice that Dodger felt he needed to be in both pictures once the carpet was in. He has already taken a very strong liking to the carpet.

2- As part as Sadie's bedding set we got this toy bag. Looking at it, I did not think that I would ever use it for toys so I tried to come up with a new idea. In the end, it is the perfect thing to hold all of Sadie's bows and clips. And of course I had to add a little bit of "bling" (even though Nate was against it).

3- ( Dad Fisher this is for you - Love big foot) So this is not a project but I have been talking about how big my feet are!! I can't believe that I am actually putting a picutre up. They truly get so swollen, that all I can do is (most of the time) just laugh. So here is a picture of my feet so you can really see how big they are. Honestly, I did have ankles and an ankle bone.

4- I have been working on the baskets for the baker's shelf. I have finally finished the last one and we were able to set them up. I am so excited that they turned out looking so cute.

5- The last project I actually can't take any credit for (except that I am making the baby), but my sister did everything. She has this amazing talent of scrapbooking these letters. I have been looking forward to getting these letter's since I found out I was pregnant!! She did such a good job putting everything together and the colors match perfectly. I did a few close ups so you could see all the details on the letters. I could not wait to put the letters up. I think that it just helps complete the room. Thanks Shantelle!!

So close and yet so far!

Well here I am at 37 weeks!!! I can't believe I am so close, but at the same time it feels like it is taking forever for her to come. I don't really like to complain, but I am 100% done with being pregnant. I am very very uncomfortable all the time and my feet and ankles are just a joke. They are so swollen that Nate and I laugh about them all the time. I was thinking that I would put a picture up, but I don't think that my ego can handle it right now. I did have a doctors appointment last tuesday. My doctor said that nothing has happened and I'm not dialated. I was somewhat dissapointed since everyone at work has been telling my that everyone they know goes 4 weeks early! So I have another appointment on Tuesday and I am just trying not to expect anything.

We have been doing some projects to get everything ready for little Sadie.
One project is that I have been putting together some baskets that are going to go on a baker's shelf in Sadie's room. I'm not sure if we know exactly what is going in them, but at least I think they turned out so so cute! Here is a before and after of the baskets. I found the baskets for $2.50 each, and the material was $2.00 a yard and the ribbon (which is pratically our bedding, Thanks Walmart!) was $4.00 for 10 yards. I am all about inexpensive projects. :)

Another project that we have been working on is getting another bed so that when people come and stay they will have a bed. We were looking into all of our options and finally came up with a solution. (Side note- My husband is the best and you will understand why in a minute) We purchased a KING sized bed!!!
I had been asking for a King size bed for a couple of months since I am so uncomfortable when I sleep and Dodger sleeps in the middle of Nate and I. Even though he is a little guy (dodger), he will sometimes push you around. King sized beds are really really expensive, but we were lucky enough to find one at Sleep America that was on sale and extremely nice. Well, before we left the store, we had purchased it and the bed was scheduled to be delivered two days after that! So now, we have an amazing king sized bed that gives us both so much room. And now when people come to visit (that is an invitation to all ) they will have a really really nice bed to stay on. And of course, I made Nate get a cute comforter set for the both beds. :) (See I told you he was the best)

The rest of this post is going to be a shout out to Nate. It is Father's day and he is going to be a father soon enough. I can't tell you how excited he is to be a father. He has been so supportive through the entire pregnancy, even when I wake him up at 2:00 am with leg cramps. Or 3:30 am becasue I had a nightmare.
He will go to Walmart to get milk and come back with 4 new outfits for Sadie. And Yes, they match and are so cute! Not only is he excited for Sadie, but he continues to provide for
our family. He has an amazing work ethic and does what needs to be done even though it may not be what is most enjoyable. He is working hard to get on the police academy and is not giving up on his dream. He knows what he wants to do and is not afraid to fight for it. I am so lucky to have him in my life! I am so excited to be able to spend my whole life with him. I could not imagine my life without him. We have such a good time together and he always makes me laugh. Nate I love you so much and I know that Sadie is the luckiest little girl ever!

23 + 53 / 4 - 5 + 20 = ???

Yep, that is correct I am now 34 weeks!! Time has really gone by quick, but at the same time it is going by so slow. We are still working on getting the babies room and the rest of the house ready so that does help take our mind off of waiting. I am feeling pretty good just really big and tired all the time.

We did go back to Sea World the next day and saw all the other shows and went and saw the animals that we wanted to see again. The weather was really nice and hot, and Nate and I got a lot of sun!! After Sea World on the second day we went back to our place around 11:30pm and went straight to bed. I did get sick and did not agree with the dinner that I had that night, but after that, I was able to go to sleep. We slept in on Monday and checked out of our place at noon, stopped by Pei Wei for lunch and then made the trip home. I am going to throw in there that on the way there and back we only stopped TWICE and both times was for gas as well as a bathroom break. I am pretty proud of myself, if I may say so. Overall it was a great vacation and I am so lucky that I was able to share it with Nate. I am the luckiest person that I have him to take care of me and to share my life with forever. And I know that Sadie will feel the same about her daddy as well. Thanks Nate I Love You!!
Over Memorial Weekend we were able to take a trip to San Diego!! We stayed at our World Mark resort for the weekend. It was a little weird being just the two (well three) of us. We have not been on a vacation with just the two of us since our honeymoon. Which has been about four years! We go there Friday at about 6:00 pm (only about a 5 1/2 hour drive). We went to the beach just to check it out. I'm a loser and did not get
in because I thought it was cold, but Nate jumped in for a quick swim. After that we just hung out at our place for the rest of the night. Our room was a little smaller than some of the resorts that we have stayed in, but was really nice and perfect for the two of us.
The next day we woke up nice and early and had a waffle breakfast offered by the resort. Then we were on our way to
SEA WORLD!! It was only about 10 minutes from our condo so I did not have to wait long. We spent from 9 am to 10 pm at the park. We saw a ton of shows (Shamu and the dolphins of course) and walked around the entire park. Nate had planned everything really well so that we walked for a little, then sat down and watched a show, and so on. He was very patient with me since my whole body was aching about two hours after we got there :) Here are some pictures.

Yea for the Nursery!!
Well we have kept ourselves busy with getting the baby's room ready for Sadie! Nate has been a real trooper and has painted the room. Now he hasn't just painted the room one color, Oh No. I made him paint it three colors and not only that but I made him do stripes! So here are pictures from beginning of painting to end.

The Yellow paint was here when we moved in. The West's ( the family we are renting from), are so nice and let us paint the room.

Here is Nate after he had painted over the yellow with white.

Some Fun and Random Things!
So here are a few fun things that have been happening. First, we went with Noah and Giselle bowling.
It was actually a really nice bowling place with a resturant and servers for every lane. Now many may be worried about the fact that a seventh month pregnant women was going to go bowling.
Trust me, I felt the same way. But it was really really fun! We bowled one game and can you guess who won?!? Yep, the seven month pregnant one did! Not only did I win, but I won with a 156! I had
five strikes. I made Nate take a picture of the score bored, since I knew that no one would believe me.

Also, last Sunday Nate and I
decided to have a BBQ. Nate gilled up some chicken, for me and pork for him. We had salad and green beans. It was so nice to sit outside and have our own little dinner. Afterwards, I sat in the hammock and Nate sat on our patio chairs and we just hung out in the warm weather!

Although we have not blogged about him for a while we still do have Dodger. He is still a great dog and we love him to death. He is really fun and brings a lot of laughs to our home. Many of you may think that I am a picky eater, well here is our dogs food before and after he eats.
He will put all the food in his mouth walk away from his bowl then drop it on the ground. He will then pick up only the pieces that he wants and eats them.
So when we come home from work we see the mess of all the pieces that he did not eat. So we have to sweep it up and throw the rest away. We are working on finding a kind of food that he will eat all of it. :)

The last thing is that today I have hit the 30 week mark!! Only 10 more weeks to go! We did get our bedding and I am so excited. We almost have the babies room painted and then we will be able to put everything together. We will have pictures shortly. I do just have to say that Nate has been amazing and when you see the room, you will see why!
