3 Months and Counting!!

Sadie is now three months old!! I can't believe how fast it has gone. She is now pushing about 11 lbs 12 oz. She is definitely growing and she does have the thighs to prove it. Once again, here is an overload of pictures and what we have been doing the past month!
Sadie has gone to the "Spa" twice now. And when I say "spa" I mean that while she is sleeping I have painted her toenails. It is so cute. She is a girly girl, no question about it. (sorry the pictures are a little blurry)
Sadie is still a big sleeper, (no complaining here). She takes naps and does pretty good when we put her down at night.
And my favorite is when she will take naps with me!! There is just something about a baby sleeping with you. :)
Monday night we were able to spend time with Nate's cousins Christina and Dan, and Tom and Candace were in town. It was really great to talk and catch up with them. Then we all went to dinner at a Mexican restaraunt.
Nate and our cute little family!
Sadie got this cute hoodie from some of my co-workers. It is a little too big, but she still loves to wear it and looks so darn cute!
Sadie is such a good girl that we are able to go out to the movies. This past month we were able to go see The Proposal again, as well as Surrogats.
Last weekend we spent Saturday night hanging out with Noah and Giselle. Their ward had a ward talent night and asked them to dance. There was a lot of good food and it was a fun night. Although it made me miss dancing! I may think about volunteering Nate and I for something just so I can dance with Nate again.
Every Thursday night Nate has been playing indoor soccer. Sadie and I usually go and cheer Nate on. It is really fun to go see Nate play. He is really good, although he may not agree. In his last game he made a goal!!

Sadie is really getting strong. When we put her on her tummy she is great at holding her neck up. She is also getting close to rolling over.
Sadie is smiling so much!! It seems that every time you look at her she is smiling. She is really getting close to laughing too. She gets so excited and about to laugh but then doesn't get there. But really soon.
Gotta love the dog. He has not been a star on the blog lately since the baby, but he is still here and we still love him. He does really good with Sadie. Everytime I come home from picking her up he is so excited to see both of us and always gives her a kiss.
Sadie is in a little bit of an awkward stage where she is getting too big for her 0-3 month clothes, but all of her 3-6 month clothes are too big. But I am really excited for her to fit in her clothes. We have some really cute things.
Well hopefully this post will give everyone a good update on what we have been doing and give the grandparents sufficient pictures of their little Sadie. I still can't believe how blessed we are and the joy that Sadie brings to our lives. I am so grateful for Nate and for all the help. He is really great with Sadie and there is just something about a dad and his little girl.

Celeste is my hero!

Recently I went out and bought a mountain bike to try and get back into riding. I went once and had an absolute blast on the desert trails out here. After I got back, Celeste told me she would like to get a bike and go mountain biking with me. We went out that day and bought her a bike as well. Last week, Celeste went for her first mountain bike ride ever!! We went to a place called Usery Mountain Rec Area. It's pretty flat desert with trails all over, something perfect for a new rider. Celeste did so awesome. She was such a great sport the whole time. She was totally legit with all her own gear, the helmet, the camelback, everything. She didn't look like a beginner and she certainly didn't ride like a beginner. It was so much fun for us to be able to ride together. Huge thanks to Noah and Giselle for watching Sadie while we were gone. It was a good opportunity for Rajko and Sadie to get to know each other. Celeste is so amazing and I'm so lucky to have her as my wife. She is such a great mom. I love her so much! Biking is just one more activity that I am lucky enough to share with her.

2 Months Old & A Trip To Utah!

Ok, are you ready for an overload of pictures because here it comes!! Sadie is now 2 months old and just as cute as ever! She is making all sorts of noises and is smiling so much. She is getting really close to laughing, but no sound comes out. She is still a pretty sleepy baby and I can't tell you how lucky we are for that. She has been sleeping through the night since she was about a month old. (please don't hate us). I had to go back to work and I absolutely hate it! I drop Sadie off at 5:30am at a neighbors house and pick her up at 3:30pm. It is really hard to be away from her for so long. The first week I was back at work, anytime soneone would ask me how she was doing, I started to cry and could not stop.

Over Labor day weekend we were able to fly up to Utah to bless Sadie, thanks to our parents, (thanks again!). We left Wednesday after work and got in to Utah at about 8:30 pm. We stayed at Nates parents house. We were so excited to be able to stay for almost a week and see friends and family.

Sadie's first airplane ride. She did so great, both flights!

I told you she is smiling and laughing!

Here is Sadie on her blessing day. Thanks to my mom for going out and finding (and paying) for her dress. She looked so precious. During the blessing she did pretty good. Her binki did fall out once and my brother Ryon was able to put it back in, but then she spit it out again. She made some noise, but it was not too bad. It was so amazing to see all the men there surrounding Sadie and especially Nate. He did such a great job and Sadie and I are so lucky to have him.

We had about 40 people at the blessing. Afterwards we had sandwiches, salads, fruit, veggies, and dessert. Thank you to everyone who brought food. The rest of the day we all just hung out playing outside, the WII or sitting around talking. It was a perfect day for our perfect little girl.

Just so cute and Happy!

On Labor day we went with Bruce and Kathy, Jacob and Melissa and their two boys, and my brother and sister-in-law Justin and Ali and Paige, up the canyon. We had a picnic up there and I had forgotten how beautiful it was in the woods. I do have to admit that I miss going camping, usually with Justin and Ali, (although I was always afraid of the bears).

Sadie's first trip up the canyon. And yep, you guessed it, she slept through the entire thing. :)

Sadie with her cousin Easton.

Sadie with her cousin Hannah

I was able to go to Allyse's Bridal to see all the girls that I worked with and Janet. It was so much fun seeing everyone. I really miss working there. :(

Overall it was such a great trip home, ( from the picture above you can see that Sadie got all tuckered out). It was really sad to leave, ( yes, I still consider Utah to be home). But at the same time it was great to back in Arizona. Again, we thank everyone who helped us get to Utah and for making Sadie's blessing day so wonderful.

1 Month Old!!

Well Sadie is actually about 5 1/2 weeks now, I have just been a slacker about the posts. So here is a picture of her at 1 month! She is growing so so much and has cute chunky thighs. I went and had her weighed, just to make sure that she was gaining weight and getting enoung to eat. She now weighs 9 lbs 14 oz!!! So she is getting enough to eat for sure!

She still is as cute as ever and I love all the clothes that we have for her!! Like this cute onsie. She wore it well. :)

We are still very lucky with Sadie. She is such a good baby! She is eating about every 3-4 hours during the day and is sleeping about 5-6 hours at night. She loves to be held, maybe a little too much. She will fall asleep in our arms and if we try to set her down anywhere, she will wake up and wonder why you are not holding her. Mmmm... I am guessing this is not good.

Sadie seems to enjoy bath time. Since she is still so small her body is not all the way in the water so we have to keep pouring water over her to keep her warm. But other than that she seems to have a good time and she smells so so so good!! I love the smell of fresh and so clean babies!

We were lucky enough to have Nate's sister and her family visit us. We were able to visit and catch up and then we went to dinner at El Pollo Loco. It was so great to see them and to have family visit. It has been really sad since my mom and Nate's parents have left. We really miss our families an cannot wait to be able to visit!!

I just thought this picture was so cute. We are learning about all the new baby gadgets, this being one of them. There are so many things out there for babies it is crazy!
Well Sadie has hit the little awkard stage of being too big for newborn clothes, but does not fit into her 0-3 month clothes, as you can tell by the picture. I guess she will have to wait until she is closer to 3 months to wear the skirt. And I promise she does have two legs.

All three of us went to church today for the entire time. Sadie did great. Slept through all of sacrament, I feed her during sunday school, then she was awake for half of relief society and then went to sleep. But the most exciting thing of the day was her outfit!! I am in love with her dress and was so excited that she (somewhat) fit into it. So of course we had to take some pictures of her in her cute sunday outfit.

Well that is all for now! I have to start work in a week and am not excited at all. I am going to take the next week and soak up all I can of Sadie because it will be so hard to leave her. And I promise that I will be better at keeping everyone updated! Love to All!

Grandma and Grandpa Fisher

Well week three is just about over here at the Fisher household with the little lady. We were lucky enough to have Nate's mom and dad come down here for the week. They got here Saturday afternoon and we were so excited!! Sadie is grand-child number 8 on both sides of the family. On Sunday we took a fun adventure. We drove to Tortilla Flats, a little place along Canyon Lakes. And when I say a little place, I mean population... 6. We stopped and had lunch and then had to try the "Prickly Pear" ice cream. It was a lot of fun and the scenary was so beautiful. Sadie was such a good girl and slept just about the whole way. That evening we went to Larry and Tere's house and had dinner with them, Noah, Giselle, and Rajko, and Nik and Anissa and their family. It was such a great evening with, as always, really great food. Isn't the future couple so cute!!

On Monday, we went to Babies-R-Us and Target. We got some really cute clothes and some bottles for Sadie. I cannot wait to be able to dress Sadie in all the cute things that we got for her. At the moment she is still in her newborn clothes, but not for long! She is one good eater!! And she is already getting little thunder thighs!

Tuesday we took a little tour of Arizona. We all went to the Mesa Temple and visited the visitor's center. It was a really nice trip and once again Sadie did great!! After the Temple we drove to Queen's Creek so Nate's dad could visit a old mission companion. Sadie was getting hungry by this time so I fed her in the car while the other's chatted. We were glad that we were able to stop and let Nate's dad get in touch with his old companion. Then we HAD to take them to Bahama Bucks to get a Bahama Mama Rama!! They put ice cream in the bottom of the cup, then shaved ice, then your flavor, and then this tropical whipping cream. They are so so good!! So good that in this one week, we have already had three. :)

On Wednesday, Nate's dad was flying out at 4:00pm. So we spent the day chilling and getting ready to take him to the airport. It was really sad to see him go. We loved having him here and he helped out so much. Thanks so much Dad Fisher!! We Love you.

Thursday Nate had to go to work for a full day. The last three days he was able to just go in for a few hours and then come home and spend the rest of the day with us. So thursday we just chilled at the house and waited for Nate to come home. Then we got ready and we went to see Harry Potter!! I was so excited to finally see it since it came out the same day Sadie was born. Sadie was so good in the theater and did not wake up once. After the movie we went to Applebee's for dinner.
Friday, Nate only went to work for a half day since he missed all of us so much! Since we had gone out the night before we stayed at home and hung out. We ordered Pei Wei ( like P.F. Changs) and watched a movie.

Saturday was another sad day. Nate's mom had to go home. :( She flew out at 1:30 pm. We had the morning to get ready and make sure that everything was packed. Nate's mom was so helpful the entire week, cooking meals, doing laundry, cleaning, and most importantly hanging out with us and holding Sadie. On the way to the airport we had to stop one more time to get another Bahama Mama Rama! (Sorry Dad Fisher, wish we could have sent one home for you). It was really sad to see Mom Fisher go. I'm not going to lie, there were some tears shed! Thank you again to both Mom and Dad for sharing this week with us and for everything you did! It made us really miss home and family. We hope that we will be able to visit soon and hope that you can come again soon! We love you!!!
