Christmas in Utah!

So this is going to be more of a picture update and not really in order, but we had so much fun in Utah for the holidays. We were able to spend about a week and a half there. While there, we got to see Sherlock Holmes and Avatar in 3D (hence the super stylish glasses we are sporting)
I sometimes feel guilty that Dodger does not get to "feel the love" of the blog, but he is still here and we love him.
This is Sadie after she has just eaten. Notice the mess on her face and the "budha belly". Got to love this baby!
This is Sadie's first time eating Peaches. By the looks of it, I think she likes them.
Sadie is quite flexible. See exhibit A below.
Me and the dog taking a nap.
While in Utah, Nate's brother-in-law was able to check Sadie out. He is an Occupational Therapist and tested Sadie. She passed with flying colors. And no, he did not just tell me that because we are family. He also nicknamed her "Fat Slapper".
Sadie with Grandma Fisher. Hanging out at the Christmas party.
We had a Pinata that all the kids, and adults were able to take a swing at. Mmm... Candy!
Nate's parents were extremely nice and told us that we could bring Dodger up for the holidays. It was going to cost quite a bit to put him in a boarding place so we took him. Much to my surprise, he did really really well. He seemed to take a liking to Nate's mom, ironic if you know Nate's mom. :)
Thanks to my sister-in-law Jana, she gave us this awesome food thing. You can put food in it and then Sadie can suck on it and get the flavor out without chocking on pieces. We started with peaches and she really liked it. We have also tried pineapple and a nectarine. She gets really sticky so we like to let her chill in her diaper while she enjoys this new "toy".
Such a cute and happy baby. I can't believe how much I love this little girl!!!!!
Yep, still bald and B-E-A-UTIFUL!
We went over to a my parents church on a Saturday to play broom hockey. It was so much fun and I am not sure why I didn't get pictures of us playing, but I got Simon and Sadie hanging out.
On Christmas, we went over to Aunt Cindy's house for lunch and presents. Thank you to all for the gifts.
Since we stayed with Nate's parents we spent Christmas morning with them. Sadie had a lot of fun opening presents. Really she just liked the sound and feel of the wrapping paper.
Dodger got a BYU football for Christmas. He doesn't look thrilled but he loves it.
Sadie got two sets of new pajamas for christmas. She loves them.
I gave Nate a list of some things that I wanted and he went an got everything without my help. And I have to say that he did a Fantastic job! He got me three pairs of heels and I love them all. I also got some jewelry that I Love!!! Thanks Nate, I love you. (and not just because of the gifts)

Here is Sadie sipping some "slush". Just kidding, she didn't get any. :)
Loves sucking on carrots and celery.

Dinner with the Fisher's. Mmm we had Ham and cheesy potatoes. So so good.

And here is Sadie hanging out in her jumper and you can't tell, but she is starting at the Christmas tree. It seems that she had a good Christmas and we loved being with family. Thank you to everyone for everything.

And yes, in case you did not know, we are moving back to Utah the end of January. Can't wait to come home for good. See you all soon.

5 Months and A Lot of Pictures!

It's True! Sadie is 5 months old and continuing to grow. She is getting so big and is changing everyday. She is getting really good at sitting up and rolls all over the house.

She is still a very happy baby and we have to remind ourselves how lucky we are.
We are getting ready for the holidays and we got to take our picture with Santa Clause!!! We went to the mall and only had to stand in line for about 40 minutes. But is was all worth it too get Sadie's picture for her first Christmas. She was really great in the line, but got really tired right before it was our turn. She didn't cry of fuss with Santa, but she did not give her big smiles.

Santa was really great and was so nice. You can tell by his face what a sweet man he was.

We are so excited to be going to Utah for Christmas. We are leaving on December 22 and will come back January 3rd. Since the weather is Freezing in Utah, we had to get Sadie some new warm clothes. This is one of her outfits.
Sadie was a little sick this past month and had an enlarged spleen. She had to go and get her blood drawn and tested. Her veins were so small in her arms that they had to try each arm. It was really horrible and luckily her dad was there to hold her. The tests came back fine and then she had to get immunization shots in her cute, chubby legs. :( That was sad too.
I added a new addition to Sadie's room. This is it.
Sadie now loves to sleep on her stomach. She sticks her little bum in the air and sprawls out. She also drools a lot!!
The other weekend we got together with Nik and Anissa and Noah and Giselle and made gingerbread houses. It was a lot of fun to get together. Here is Nate constructing our house.
Still putting the house together......
And Ta-Da!! Here is our masterpiece. And yes, we cheated and bought a kit. No judging.
I bought this beanie and love putting Sadie in it.
Such a cute sleeper!

We are so lucky to have Sadie in our lives. We could not be more happy. Everyday is a blessing with her.
We are so excited to go home for Christmas and will have a lot of pictures to post. For now, Have a Merry Christmas and we Love you All!!

4 Months (and Halloween, yes I am a little behind)

Sadie is now the big 4, (months that is). Getting older and older, and cuter and cuter. She is starting to get into the really fun stage of knowing who you are every time you pick her up. She is smiling all the time and is getting closer and closer to having a belly laugh.

She is getting really close to sitting up by herself. Apparently she thinks she is a big girl.

Sadie loves to take baths! She is so happy when she is in there and will just play and splash around.

Here she is with Nate after church. She was trying to channel some Hawaii vibes. ( I think this is her way of telling us where to go on vacation)

This is Sadie just being cute.

We were able to go take some fun pictures of Sadie up by a lake by our house. It was really pretty. We are hoping that soon we will be able to utilize the lake more.

So for Halloween Sadie was a little Lamb!! I saw this costume and could not resist. The hat part was really small and did not fit on her head as you could probably tell but she did not seem to mind. For Halloween our ward had a trunk or treat in the elementary school parking lot. They have hot dogs, chili, and homemade root beer. Then we all decorated our trunks and the kids all walked around. It was our first time at a trunk or treat and we really loved it. It was nice to not have to get up and down to get the door and our dogs did not bark at all. It was fun to see all the costumes and to mingle with people from the ward and all the neighbors that we did not know. I think next year we are going to go all out with our trunk and costumes, (we did not dress up as anything unless you call regular clothes and us saying we were sheep herders a costume).
The costume did not seem to bug Sadie and she seemed to have a lot of fun. That is the whole 20 minutes that she was awake. :)

Overall it was a great holiday and hopefully Sadie will have some great memories. And yes, she loves you all!

Sadie's First Trip To Pinetop!

Ok, first things first. I went the mall yesterday and I just could not help myself! I have always talked about getting Sadie's ears pierced and I actually did it!! I know, some may think that horrible, but she looks so cute! She did scream, but after about a minute she calmed down and was fine. She has not had a problem since. So yeah...

The weekend of mine and Nate's birthday we decided to go to Pinetop! We invited Noah and Giselle to come, and of course Sadie and Rajko. We had so much fun.

The weather was really great. In the early morning and evenings, it was a little chilly but all you needed was a sweatshirt. During the day it was really nice and cool.

Here are Rajko and Sadie watching Baby Einstein. They really enjoyed it and it was helpful when we were eating dinner.

We had to make sure that Sadie had some warm shoes while we were up there so we couldn't resist getting these leopard print Ugs.
Here we are walking around one night and stopping by the club house.
This was Sadie's first bike ride! We were able to bring up all four of our bikes and we borrowed a trailer from Nik and Anissa, (thanks guys!).
Sadie was all bundled up and ready to go. One day we rode to the family dollar down the street and got stuff to make s'mores. Another day, we followed a paved path around the town. It was a lot of fun to see the area and be out. Sadie loved the bike rides. I think that we are going to have to purchase a bike trailer so we can take her on more rides.
Noah and Giselle watched Sadie one day so Nate and I could go biking. The area was really really pretty. Not much of a mountain biking trail, but it was still a great workout.
You can't really tell, but Nate is catching some air on a little jump.
This was our cabin that we stayed in. We are really grateful that we have our time share and that we are able to share it with others.
On the way home from Pinetop there is a great lookout spot that you can take pictures. We may have gotten a little carried away, but it was fun.

Thank so much to Nate for planning the whole thing and booking the resort. Also thanks to Noah and Giselle for driving and coming with us. It was a lot of fun to leave the stresses of life and go relax up in the "woods". (Yes, I know that they are not like the woods back home, hence the " ". ) I think that we may have to make this a yearly event and all that want to come are welcome!!
